Go adventure´s light walk on the rooftop of Uppsala castle takes the visitors on a trip above the city – a place where history meets the future. Here, generations have been looking out over a city constantly undergoing change: from the days of the Swedish empire until today.
To mount the rooftop dressed in a glowing stick-man-costume is, as well as a physical trip, also a spiritual one. To many people, this is a way of facing their fears and overcoming them, a reminder that change starts whithin ourselves. When standing on the castle´s rooftop gazing out upon the city dressed in night lights, it all comes clear: change is inevitable, but at the same time beautiful, strenghtening and full of possibilities.
This light walk therefore embodies both a physical and a symbolic trip within the theme The Promise of Change.
