In the heart of the festival atmosphere, Odinslund becomes a warm and welcoming meeting place with a mini museum, heated cabin and reflective scavenger hunt! Everything is free – but voluntary donations to the Uppsala City Mission are warmly welcomed.
Take a seat and enjoy a cup of coffee – it’s on the house! If you’d like, make a small donation to Uppsala City Mission to help brighten someone else’s November.
Step into Vattenfall’s warming cabin and explore a small pop-up museum where you can discover what keeps Uppsala warm and follow the journey of district heating through the city – from past to future. Learn how you can be part of the transition to a fossil-free Uppsala through district heating, and challenge your friends or family in the playful competition “Who’s the hottest in Uppsala?” using Vattenfall’s thermal camera.
At LF Uppsala’s warming cabin, you’ll get a unique glimpse of what safety looks like through the eyes of second graders across the county. They asked students from Year 2 all over Uppsala County: What does safety look like where you live? The exhibition showcases all 600 creative contributions from local schools. The winning artwork, created by Ofelia, age 8, from Årstaskolan, has become the design for this year’s reflector – and you can pick up your own copy here! Children can also join an exciting flashlight scavenger hunt among the trees.
Open daily between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
On Friday 7 November (opening night) and Saturdays 8, 15 and 22 November, you can meet Vattenfall and LF Uppsala on site.
Vattenfall
Vattenfall’s district heating has kept Uppsala warm for decades. Flowing quietly through the city, it brings life to homes, schools and workplaces in a way that is safe, sustainable and energy-efficient. But district heating is about more than just technology and energy – it’s about something greater: sharing something valuable with one another, united by a desire to contribute to the common good.
LF Uppsala
For LF Uppsala, creating safety means more than just offering insurance. It’s about building a community where people feel well – in everyday life, in togetherness and in growth. That’s why they are proud main sponsors of Allt ljus på Uppsala 2025. The festival brings together people of all ages and from across the region to share a luminous experience in the darkest time of the year.
