From 7–23 November 2025, as darkness falls over Uppsala, the city centre will be transformed into a landscape of living light art. Magical works will illuminate streets, squares, and facades – inviting you to experience the city in a whole new way. Allt ljus på Uppsala is a celebration of creativity, community, and reflection, where artists from around the world reveal Uppsala through fresh eyes.
The theme for 2025 is “The Promise of Change” – an exploration of the power and possibilities of transformation. Through light, sound, and storytelling, emotions, thoughts, and conversations are sparked about our role in the journey towards sustainability. Bring someone you care about – or wander on your own. Explore, experience, and help shape a brighter future.
