This is Loop is a British art and design studio that creates large-scale light installations at the intersection of art, science, and technology. By combining moving light, sound, and illusion, they craft experiences where the audience becomes an active part of the work. The studio is led by Harriet Lumby and Alan Hayes, and their pieces have been exhibited around the world – often rooted in scientific research. Geist is a striking example: a light installation inspired by the universe’s most elusive particles – neutrinos. Through artistic interpretations of complex phenomena, This is Loop aims to spark curiosity and open new paths to understanding the questions that shape our view of the world.
