Helicoled is built on the idea that understanding and change begin in small things — in curiosity and in movement. The artwork takes the shape of a spiral, where hundreds of points of light rise gently toward the sky. But the motion doesn’t happen on its own — it comes to life only when people join forces to set it in motion. The light is born in the encounter between the work and its audience. The spiral is one of nature’s most ancient forms. We see it in seashells, in DNA, in the movements of galaxies. It symbolizes growth, evolution, and endless transformation. In Helicoled, the spiral becomes a living pattern of energy, motion, and togetherness. The work reveals how something as simple as a shared gesture can create something extraordinary. Each turn, each movement forward, is a poetic reminder that change happens step by step — and always together.

Super Idée is a French artist collective that creates large-scale, interactive light installations inspired by science, play, and the curiosity of childhood. They explore how people can gather around light, movement, and imagination – and how art can become a space for discovery. In the works Pixel Planet and Helicoled, simple actions grow into something greater. The audience is not just a spectator, but an active part of the artwork. Every movement shapes the whole – and each participant helps define the outcome. Super Idée seeks to show that art can be both accessible and profound. A place where people of all ages meet, play, and explore – and where change happens together.
