What does the future of Uppsala look like – through the eyes of children? In Imagine, children from Uppsala share their dreams of tomorrow’s city. Their drawings are projected onto the façade, transforming the building and the city into a living vision filled with colour, imagination, and hope for the future. Here, children’s ideas take their rightful place in the urban landscape, reminding us that change doesn’t always begin with grand plans or major decisions. Sometimes, it starts with a simple drawing. Imagine has been created together with children from Gränbystaden’s Summer Fun programme, Sverkerskolan, Vattholmaskolan, and Uppsala Enskilda Skola. Through colour, form, and imagination, they have shared their dreams of Uppsala’s future. By giving space to children’s visions of tomorrow’s Uppsala, Atrium Ljungberg aims to highlight new perspectives on how a city can grow and evolve. Because real urban development begins with listening – and with letting those who will live in the future help shape it.
Onda Studio is a creative collective based in Italy, working at the intersection of technology, art, and co-creation. With a sense of playfulness and inclusivity, they create works that invite the audience to participate – not just observe. Their projects are driven by a strong belief that art can be a tool for community, curiosity, and social reflection. Through projections, interactive environments, and visual experiments, they often invite children to bring colour to public spaces – and to help shape how the world looks.
