Pitaya is a French design studio from Lyon, founded by David Lesort and Arnaud Giroud. Moving freely between art, design, and light, their work is always infused with a sense of motion and poetry. With installations exhibited around the world, they create moments where the technical meets the dreamlike. Light birds, floating sculptures, and visual stories invite the audience to pause, reflect – and feel. Pitaya’s art is defined by movement and presence – works that spark curiosity while inviting contemplation. Their signature is light in motion: in flocks, in rhythm, or in transformation – always with the human experience at heart. With L’Envol, they give shape to a feeling we all recognise: being in motion, right in the midst of change.
Sh bygg, sten och anläggning and Uppsala Stadsmission are working together for a more humane Uppsala. L’Envol captures the moment something takes flight – a symbol of hope and change in everyday life, which can at times feel fragile. Together, they aim to help more people find a safe place to land.
