Who do we really share the city with? Each other, of course. But also trees and plants, insects, birds and other animals living their lives alongside us.
A city is more than buildings, streets and infrastructure. It is a place where many different forms of life need room to thrive. The City We Share draws our attention to the relationship between people and the rest of the living world and asks how the city can continue to develop without losing sight of our responsibility to care for it.
Lightspray Visual is a Hungarian artist collective that has been working with analogue light art since 2010. In their installations, they use modified overhead projectors and custom-built mechanical devices to create large-scale moving projections on buildings and other surfaces. This technique makes the projectors themselves part of the installation. Lightspray Visual draws inspiration from contemporary street art, steampunk and science fiction.
Vasakronan owns, develops and manages commercial properties, including in Uppsala. The company’s vision is to create a good city where people thrive and businesses develop.
To contribute to a sustainable future, Vasakronan works to create value for both people and the environment. This can include plants and green spaces that support biodiversity, as well as welcoming routes through the city, attractive places and art in public spaces. Simply put, things that give us more reasons to stop and experience the city.
