Open Call 2026

Theme: Courage. Patience.
Festival dates: 6–22 November 2026
Application deadline: 12 January 2026

Change begins with courage.
The courage to look beyond what we know.
To step into the unknown – with no guarantee of what lies ahead.
To break patterns, ask questions, choose another path.

But courage is only the first step.
True transformation takes time. It demands patience – the ability to stay the course even when results are slow, the road is winding, and answers are unclear. Patience is letting seeds grow, ideas mature and trusting that small steps can lead to something greater.

In a time when quick fixes are celebrated and instant change is rewarded, we remind ourselves that what’s truly sustainable often grows slowly. That meaningful change is shaped through steady work – in repeated actions, in decisions that endure, in people who persist.

For the 2026 festival, we are looking for installations and artworks that resonate with the theme “Courage. Patience.”

If you work with light, art, space or technology – whether you are established or emerging – we welcome your proposal.

We seek installations that:

– challenge, inspire and spark reflection,
– explore the courage to choose a different path,
– embody the quiet strength of long-term commitment,
– transform public space and offer new perspectives.

Your proposal should include:

– a short description of the installation/artwork (concept, technique, thematic connection),
– images, sketches or visualizations,
– proposed fee (including production, transport and installation),
– any technical requirements or other relevant details.

Application deadline: 12 January 2026
